Active Ingredients
Bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum)
Along with other representatives of the normal intestinal flora, bifidobacteria:
- take an active part in digestion and absorption;
- contribute to the processes of enzymatic digestion of food;
- contribute to normal intestinal motility and evacuation of intestinal contents;
- promotes the synthesis of vitamins in the intestine, better absorption of nutrients;
- support normal processes of parietal digestion, suppress the growth of pathogenic microflora.
Lactobacillus acidophilus contributes to:
- the formation of lactic acid, and the acidic environment created in this way has a beneficial effect on the development of bifidobacteria;
- reducing the risk of developing an imbalance of microflora and antibiotic-associated diarrhea while taking antibiotics;
- reducing the frequency of infectious diseases, including acute respiratory diseases;
- lactobacilli have an immunomodulatory effect and are able to reduce the severity of inflammation in the intestinal wall.
Vitamin D3 - to activate the immune system - the body's first line of defense against infections. Vitamin D3 is involved in the work of the gastrointestinal tract, regulates its motility, plays an important role in the absorption of calcium, phosphates and magnesium in the intestine, and the transport of mineral salts.
